Traffic doesn't improve by accident. It takes persistence, partnerships, and a willingness to bring people together around practical solutions.
Before being elected to the City Council in 2018, I was proud to serve as a member of the Greater Corona Traffic Alliance, where I helped advocate for innovative solutions to regional traffic congestion. One such effort was the auxiliary lane between Green River Road and SR-241, a project that improved traffic flow on westbound SR-91 and has benefited millions of commuters since its completion.
My commitment to traffic relief didn't stop when I was elected. I have continued working with local, regional, state, and federal partners to advance projects that improve mobility and reduce congestion for Corona residents, including:
- Advocating for the auxiliary lane between Cajalco Road and Weirick Road on Interstate 15, completed in 2022.
- Working with state and federal representatives to secure funding for the Ontario Avenue Undercrossing Project, currently anticipated to begin construction in 2027-2028.
- Partnering with RCTC, Riverside County, and regional stakeholders to widen Temescal Canyon Road between The Crossings and Interstate 15.
- Working with Caltrans, RCTC, and our state legislative delegation to advance additional auxiliary lanes and operational improvements along Interstate 15 to address lane-drop bottlenecks and improve traffic flow.

In my first action representing the City of Corona on the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) . In December 2018, RCTC voted to spend $3M on solutions presented by the GCTA.
The SR-91 Corridor Operations Project Opened January 2022. I am very proud to have been part of the solution to this issue with the Members of the Greater Corona Traffic Alliance

My passion has always been identifying challenges, bringing the right people together, and finding solutions. Whether serving in the private sector, volunteering in the community, or representing Corona on the City Council, I've never believed that simply pointing out problems is enough. Real leadership means working with residents, city staff, regional agencies, businesses, utilities, and outside experts to develop practical solutions that improve people's lives.
Fighting Traffic and Improving Mobility
- Helped advocate for the new auxiliary lane between Cajalco Road and Weirick Road on Interstate 15, completed in 2022, improving traffic flow for thousands of Corona commuters every day.
- Worked with state and federal partners to secure funding for the Ontario Avenue Undercrossing Project, expected to begin construction in 2027-2028, creating a critical new east-west connection for Corona residents.
- Partnered with RCTC, Riverside County, and regional stakeholders to advance plans to widen Temescal Canyon Road between The Crossings and Interstate 15.
- Continues working with Caltrans and regional transportation partners to eliminate bottlenecks and lane drops along Interstate 15 through additional auxiliary lanes and operational improvements.
- Served in regional transportation leadership positions to ensure Corona receives its fair share of transportation investments and funding opportunities.
Improving Reliability and Strengthening Partnerships
- Helped resolve years of recurring power outages affecting Dos Lagos and The Crossings by rebuilding collaboration between the City and Southern California Edison.
- Facilitated the installation of a redundant power line, significantly improving reliability for businesses, residents, and visitors.
- Leveraged strong relationships with utility providers and regional partners to secure long-term infrastructure investments benefiting Corona.

All things are possible when you have the right team, the right partnerships, and the right plan.
Long before I was elected, I worked alongside residents, business leaders, transportation agencies, and elected officials to push a boulder up the hill for Corona. One example was helping advocate for the auxiliary lane between Green River Road and SR-241, an innovative solution that continues to improve traffic flow for thousands of drivers every day.
As your Councilmember, I haven't stopped fighting for common-sense transportation improvements. I'm continuing to work with Caltrans, RCTC, Riverside County, our state legislative delegation, and regional partners to advance projects that will improve mobility and reduce congestion, including:
- Additional auxiliary lanes along Interstate 15 to address freeway bottlenecks and lane drops.
- The Ontario Avenue Undercrossing Project, creating a critical new east-west connection.
- Widening Temescal Canyon Road to improve access and mobility.
- Future improvements along both the SR-91 and I-15 corridors.
The better our freeways work, the fewer commuters cut through our neighborhoods and city streets.
My commitment has always been simple:
Fight for practical solutions, build strong partnerships, and keep Corona moving forward.
Because traffic relief doesn't happen by accident. It happens when someone is willing to bring people together, stay at the table, and keep pushing until the job gets done.
